Meet Shani.
Based in the Cotswolds, Shani Wills is an artisan cake baker, creating bespoke designs and outstanding flavours for her clients out of her Nailsworth cake studio.
Shani has always loved to bake and has a background in art and design; a happy combination for making bespoke edible art for a special occasion. She is inspired by hearing her clients’ celebration stories and loves nothing better than making something tailored to an individual.
Being eco conscious is very important to Shani and the wedding and celebration specialists that she collaborates with. She is doing her best to source her ingredients as locally, organically and ethically produced as possible. Eggs come from very happy free range hens who only live a few miles from the bakery, flour from the local, organic mill, dairy products are literally down the road and sugar is from a fair trade supplier. There are still areas for improvement, and Shani will continue to work on increasing the eco worthiness of her products and work practise.
